These two right here are the sweetest couple... of all time. We so enjoyed this day with Kathryn and Nathan! Their families, their friends, their love for each other, all of it was just so great. Nathan's Best Man got really, really sick the morning of the wedding and wasn't able to make it. Kathryn's younger brother, Jordan (last one of the left) stepped up to fill in. Major props to Jordan and the rest of Kathryn's family for shifting around roles and making that happen!

FROM THE BRIDE & GROOM...

Best moments of the day:

Kathryn: Exchanging vows and reading a sweet letter from my mom that morning

Nathan: Exchanging vows with my bride. The sparkler exit was cool, too!

Sweetest memory of the day...

Kathryn: Our first dance

Nathan: Having a little bit of time with Kathryn the morning of the wedding, before getting ready

Funniest memory of the day...

Kathryn: When I was about to walk down the isle and realized my groom wasn't at the alter waiting for me!

Nathan: When my groomsmen broke in through the bathroom window and unlocked the door so that the videographer could properly document my shower.

Advice for future brides...

Kathryn: Don't let all the details of your wedding day bog you down. Remember what the day is all about and be able to go with the flow. Just enjoy the journey.

Nathan: What Kat said... Just enjoy the day and the process leading up to it. Don't let the details and the tediousness of wedding planning take anything away from your engagement or wedding day. You only get to do this once, so relax, enjoy it, and remember what it's all about. Also, lots of people will have opinions about what you should do and how to do it. It's good to be flexible, but don't worry about pleasing everybody. Your wedding day is about you and your future spouse.

Advice for future grooms...

Kathryn: Ask your bride how you can be helpful and complete the tasks she gives you before she can even think to ask you if you have done it.

Nathan: Take initiative and complete your tasks ASAP. Don't wait to get things done, even though you might not have a lot on your plate. It will help your bride to relax and enjoy everything, and "a happy wife is a happy life"

Thanks goes out to...

Kathryn & Nathan: Way too many to list here, but just to name a couple... Our parents, for raising us, funding our wedding, and making everything happen. Kathryn's dad Mark for working with Nate through the whole process of getting engaged and married. All of our groomsmen and bridesmaids. You all were so great. Our cousin Lee, who was Nate's best man when his brother Evan got sick. I kind of wanted them both to be the best man anyways, so it worked out! ;) Kathryn's brother Jordan for filling in as a groomsman. Our good friend Mitch Doyle, who served as an honorary groomsmen, helped a ton, and made our wedding weekend fun. Jenni Comfort, our wedding coordinator. She did a great job, and helped everything run smoothly! Jake and Katie Ford for taking our pictures. They were so fun to work with, and as you can see, they did a great job! Hire them! ;) Tina Carter, for arranging Kathryn's beautiful bouquet and the men's boutonnieres. Travis and Carol Turner, for jumping in and helping in so many different ways the day before and the day of. Carly and Shirlee Fisher for all of their help setting up for the reception. Kat's brother Reagan for being the mastermind behind the Christmas tent lighting. Kathryn's grandparents Bob and Wanda Phillips, for finding and buying those huge sparklers! Kathryn's grandparents Stephie and Ron Fisher, for helping us with a place to stay on our honeymoon in St Maarten. Morgan McRay, our good friend who officiated the wedding along with Kathryn's dad Mark. Morgan and his beautiful wife Megan for housing some of our friends and opening up their home. Most importantly, God for his guidance, peace, and provision. There are many more, and probably some painfully inconsiderate exclusions that we will remember in five minutes. If we didn't name you, thank you!!
