Andy & Jenna • Avila Wedding • Tampa, Florida

Andy & Jenna's wedding was one of those "finally" weddings. It felt like these two had been waiting for this day forever and could finally say "I do!" We love weddings like this. Full of wonderful, sweet moments between friends and families. We are so happy to have been Andy & Jenna's wedding photographers and we're excited to share this great wedding!

Andy & Jenna chose Idlewild Baptist Church for there ceremony and Avila Golf & Country Club for their reception, which proved to be such a beautiful venue and great choice! Jenna said they chose Avila because "the architecture of the room is stunning and had the exact elegance that I envisioned for our reception. Honestly it is so beautiful that I didn't feel like I needed to decorate much which was a plus!"

From the bride & Groom

What were some of your favorite memories from your wedding day? Reading the beautiful letter Andy wrote to me was one of my favorite moments. Of course the first look with my dad and brother was a memory I will treasure forever.

What were some of the sweetest memories from your wedding day? Right before we walked down the aisle, my dad pulled me away from everyone and prayed over me. I loved that moment with him. Another sweet moment for us happened while we were out taking our bride and groom pictures. Jake and Katie started playing our first dance song and we got to dance with each other for the first time as husband and wife on a beautiful bridge in the middle of a golf course with nobody watching.

What were some of the funniest memories from your wedding day? My dad and I surprised everyone with a choreographed dance. Seeing everyone's faces change from tears to shock and laughter was so great. My dad has some pretty awesome dance moves!

What is something that happened on your wedding day that you didn't expect? Towards the end of our reception, Jake comes up to me and says that they have a surprise for me. He took me over to a table where he had set up a slideshow of photos from the day. I could not believe that they had them for me and had so much fun looking back at our incredible day while it was still happening!

The Bridesmaids. "Having a big bridal party ended up being one of my favorite part of the wedding. I had my college friends, childhood friends, my sister and cousins next to me and it was so wonderful being surrounded my the most important ladies in my life. My sister was a wonderful maid of honor and shared such raw emotion with me throughout the whole day. She surprised me with a beautiful scrapbook she made with notes from all my bridesmaids." The Ceremony. "We wanted the ceremony to be completely Christ-centered and a clear picture of his love. Having Andy's dad marry us was very special. Nancy, one of Jenna's bridesmaids and David, Andy's brother (and best man) sang "Be thou my vision" during the ceremony while we lit the candle and prayed together. They sounded beautiful!"
