Love love love this session!!! And if you're wondering if you can bring your dog to your session, the answer is always always YES. Daniel & Lily were so easy in front of the camera and their pup Nero was a total ham.
At home sessions are so much fun and a great option for these hot summer months!
When & how did you meet?
We met in high school, Danny and I shared a few classes together and some how always ended up sitting next to each other. He would always make me laugh and in return I would help him out with some of the classwork. It wasn't until after he graduated that one of his close friends set us up.
When & how did you get engaged?
It all started one night when we went out to dinner and Danny hinted that he would like to get engaged soon. Me being the wedding obsessed girl that I am, thought nothing of it. (Little did I know he already had a ring!) He got me all excited, then a few week later told me he went to through his finances and it just wasn't going to happen for a few years. I told him that it was ok and we had time. About 3 or so weeks later he took me on a nice walk with our puppy, he was very sweet and told me why he loved our life so much. We made it to the dog park and he told me to close my eyes. When I opened them, he had our dog with a note attached to him. The note said "will you marry him?" I look up and and was he down on one knee with a ring in his hand. I was shocked! I said yes of course then we drove to the store to get champagne. When we got in the car 'Forever and Ever, Amen' by Randy Travis was playing on the radio and I knew that it was meant to be.
Daniel as explained by Lily.
When I try to think of a word to describe Danny, all I can think of is home. I can go on and on about how amazing, funny, smart, and talented he is. Every day he surprises me, everyday we learn something new about each other. He is the often found playing with our puppy, making delicious breakfast, laughing with his friends, or watching Seinfeld.
Lily as explained by Daniel.
Lily is the embodiment of everything that is good in the world. She is intelligent, driven, compassionate, and always has a way of seeing the positive aspects of everything. It is hard to imagine what life would be like without her. Even after 5 years she still manages to surprise me. Sometimes I feel like she knows me better than I know myself. She is often found hanging out with friends, listening to Britney Spears, or watching HGTV.
